Dustin Risner, of Salyersville, was arrested after police were called to a report of a man trying to get inside of a home.
Deputies saw a man in a field across from the residence.
The man ran; however, police did catch up and, with the help of a bystander, was able to cuff him and place him into police custody.
Risner is facing several charges including resisting arrest and assault of a police officer.
