Kentucky State Police are reporting a body has been found in the area of exit 49 in Laurel County.
The Lexington Hearld Leader is reporting that items found on the body indicate that the body is that of 32-year-old Joesph Couch.
Police say Couch shot 12 vehicles on September 7, seriously injuring 5.
The Commissioner of the Kentucky State Police Phillip Burnet in London on Wednesday night said “We are confident this brings closure to the search for Joesph Couch.”
