Unemployment Rate Rising Across The State

 Unemployment is rising across the state. 

The Kentucky Center for Statistics reports that Martin County has the highest rate of unemployment at 10.6 %, followed by Magoffin County, 10.1%; Breathitt and Harlan counties, 8.9% each; Elliott County, 8%; Letcher County, 7.8%; and Knott County, 7.6%. Cumberland County recorded the lowest jobless rate in the commonwealth at 3.5%.
