Public Service Commission and KY Power Reach Settlement Over Fuel Adjustment Clause

A settlement between the Kentucky Public Service Commission and Kentucky Power Company over the company’s Fuel Adjustment Clause will mean a little bit more cash in your pocket.

The Commission said Kentucky Power will refund $16.9 million to ratepayers, with future savings of another $5.1 million per year going forward.

The average Kentucky Power residential customer will receive a credit of approximately $51.19 over both 2025 and 2026.
