Two Perry County women have been arrested, accused of possession of methamphetamine during a traffic stop.
Perry County deputies pulled over a car on Friday of last week on Kentucky 80.
One deputy noted a strong odor of marijuana, so the women were ordered out of the vehicle for a search.
Deputies then learned that both 55-year-old Donita Everage, of Carrie, and 54-year-old Angela Beverly, of Langley, both had outstanding warrants out for their arrest.
During the search, police found the pot, along with methamphetamine, a handgun and other drug paraphernalia.
