One man is in custody in Paintsville following a search warrant tied to a death investigation.
Officers executed the warrant Thursday at a home on Third Street.
During the search, police arrested 61-year-old Michael Jennings on multiple felony charges, including possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia, and being a persistent felony offender.
Jennings was also served with an indictment warrant from Johnson Circuit Court for additional meth-related charges.
Police say more charges and possible arrests are pending.
