The Paintsville community is mourning the loss of a well-known and deeply respected member.
Linda Duncan, a longtime community servant and active member of several local organizations, has passed away.
In a statement, the Paintsville Rotary Club described Duncan as someone who “embodied what it truly means to live a life of service,” adding that her kindness, compassion, and dedication left a lasting impact on both the club and the community. They say she will be “deeply missed and forever remembered.”
The Paintsville Kiwanis Club also expressed heartbreak over her passing, calling Duncan “a true friend to all” and praising her commitment to helping others—especially young people in the area. They noted her “heart of gold” and lifelong effort to make a positive difference.
Duncan is survived by her son, Jeremy, along with many friends, colleagues, and community members who were touched by her life.
