Traffic Stop in Floyd County Leads to Arrest of Johnson County Woman on Drug Charges

A Johnson County woman is charged with drug trafficking allegations after a traffic stoo in Floyd County.  

According to documents from the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office, Kimberly Marie Osborne was pulled over near KY 1426 and US 23 when a deputy observed her 2004 Lincoln Navigator make a turn without using a proper signal.  

The deputy wrote in his report that he immediately noticed a glass pipe typically used to smoke methampehtamine – when he approched the driver’s side door.  

During a search of the vehicle, a vacuum-sealed baggie containing a large amount of white crystal substance was also found.  

A second vacuum-sealed baggie contining a green leafy substance, as well as a baggie of what was believed to be pscilicybin mushrooms was also found.  

Osborne remains held at the Floyd County Jail for various drug trafficking and distribution allegations.
