An ATV accident in Breathitt County Saturday has killed one and sent another to jail.
Kentucky State Police reported that the crash happened on Highland Drive in Jackson, where they found an ATV that went over an embankment.
Twenty-two-year-old Alexis Smith, of Lexington, was thrown from the ATV and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation into the crash led to the arrest of 23-year-old Logan Spence, of Lexington, who was operating the ATV when he lost control.
He faces charges of one count of vehicular homicide and one count of operating a motor vehicle under the influence.
