Thomas Price of Johnson County, who escaped custody while being treated at the Highlands ARH on Sunday night, has been found and arrested in West Virginia.
Price was being held at the Floyd County Detention Center but escaped from custody with the help of an alleged accomplice, Cindy Rodriguez.
The Prestonsburg Police Facebook Page stated that police were able to access Price’s Facebook Messenger account where they learned he had purchased a prepaid cell phone following his escape.
With that information, they were able to ping his phone and find out his location.
They gave that information to West Virginia authorities who arrested Price on Monday evening.
