A Johnson County woman has been arrested after a shooting incident on Friday.
Kentucky State Police responded to a property at 6367 KY 40 in Williamsport just before midnight.
Two boys who were walking in the area had called dispatchers to report a forest fire.
As they were talking with dispatchers, the boys reported hearing gunfire nearby.
Troopers responded and encountered Misty D. Barker, who was holding a revolver as troopers arrived.
Troopers gave repeated commands for Barker to drop the gun, which she finally did.
The neighbor said she could hear Barker threaten to kill the boys.
Barker was evgentually apprehended and is now in the Big Sandy Regional Jail.
