KSP Post 9 Names New Commander in Pikeville

Kentucky State Police Post 9 in Pikeville has a new commander.

Captain Brad Riley officially took over the role on March 16th. He’s a 2009 graduate of the KSP Academy and brings more than 16 years of law enforcement experience to the position.

Riley has served in multiple posts across the state, including Elizabethtown and Bowling Green, and most recently worked in the Critical Incident Response Branch.

In a statement, Riley says it’s an honor to serve as Post 9 commander and that he looks forward to working with troopers and serving communities across the region.

Riley is a native of Grayson County and has received several awards during his career, including Trooper of the Year honors.
