Congratulations to Coach Chandler Thompson and the Lawrence County Bulldogs Boys Basketball Team on Winning the 15th Region Basketball Tournament at Pike Co Central H.S., over the Martin County Cardinals. This was Lawrence County’s first Regional Title since 2016 when they defeated Johnson Central (75-64) in the Championship Game.
Lawrence County will now play in the 2025 UK Health Care/KHSAA Boys Basketball “Sweet 16” Basketball Tournament, from Historic Rupp Arena in Lexington, Ky. on Thursday, March 27 at 1:30 PM versus Region 10 Winner Montgomery County.
