Three Williamson, West Virginia, residents are in the Pike County Detention Center and are being charged with shoplifting from several stores in the Cassady Boulevard area of Pike County.
A 911 caller from one of the stores said two males and one female were seen stuffing items into their pockets and leaving the store without paying for them.
Police caught up with the trio near Pike Central High School and arrested Louie Gauze, Chritel Adkins, and William Marcum.
Gauze also had a warrant out of Ohio.
In another shoplifting incident in Pikeville, police were called to the Pikeville Walmart on Saturday and confronted Jordan Clark, of Elkhorn City.
During a pat-down, police discovered a pistol in Clark’s pants pocket.
A Walmart employee told police that Clark had been banned from all Walmart stores.
During the search of Clark, police found a bag of suspected fentanyl and in his car more suspected fentanyl and a glass pipe.
