FRANKFORT, Ky. (WSIP) – The Kentucky Public Service Commission has launched a formal investigation into the management and operation of Kentucky Power Company and has ordered a full independent audit of the utility.
The Commission says the action stems from concerns raised during the company’s recent rate case, as well as questions about its planning and decision-making in previous projects.
The completed report will be made public and could lead to additional investigations if further issues are identified.
