Drivers who use the Mountain Parkway at Exit 33 at Slade in Powell County should prepare for brief ramp closures on Sunday morning, Aug. 4.
In order to allow for repairs to be made to an overhead cable, the ramps from KY 11 to the westbound Mountain Parkway, and from the eastbound Mountain Parkway to KY 11, will be closed between 8-10 a.m..
Law enforcement personnel will be on site to assist with traffic control. Signs will be in place to alert drivers of the closures.
Drivers may wish to detour between Exit 22 at Stanton and Exit 33 at Slade via KY 213 and KY 11/KY 15.
Approximately 1,670 vehicles use these two ramps each day.
