Road Work Begins Next Week Along KY-1409 in Johnson County

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of an upcoming soil nail repair project on KY 1409 in Johnson County at milepoint 2.21.

Contractor GSI is scheduled to begin work the week of March 23, weather permitting.

During construction, traffic will be reduced to one lane in the work zone. Temporary signals will be in place to control traffic flow throughout the duration of the project. Motorists should expect delays and plan travel accordingly.

The project is expected to last approximately six weeks, barring any unforeseen issues or weather delays.

KYTC urges drivers to use caution when traveling through the area, watch for signage and signals, and be prepared for slowed or stopped traffic.
