Tourism Continues to Make Excellent Impact on Kentucky, Johnson County

As we move into  the summer vacation season, Governor Andy Beshear took time in his weekly Team Kentucky update to talk about the importance of tourism to the state.

Beshear announced that last year was a record-breaking year for the Kentucky tourism industry which generated $13.8 billion in economic impact and 95,222 in jobs.

In Johnson County, the tourism industry provided 174 jobs, $4.7 million of labor income, $2.1 million in state and local taxes, and $27.6 million in dollars spent.
