UK Men’s Basketball
The Kentucky Men’s Basketball Team revenged an earlier season loss to the Vanderbilt Commadores on Saturday, inside Historic Rupp Arena, 91-77. Sophomore guard Collin Chandler had a career-high 23 points, shooting 6-8 from three-point range, while Senior guard Otega Oweh chipped in 23 points. In all, four Wildcats finished in double-figures. The Win pushes the CATS overall Record on the Season to 19-10 and 10-6 in the SEC.
Next Up for Kentucky is a road trip to College Station to face the Aggies of Texas A&M on Tuesday, March 3 at 7:00 P.M. Eastern on ESPN2.
UK Women’s Basketball
Clara Strack scored 24 points and grabbed nine rebounds, but the Kentucky Women’s Basketball Team fell to # 3 Ranked South Carolina 60-56 on Sunday.Asia Boone scored 11 points for the Cats, while Amelia Hassett had 6 points and 6 rebounds. Kentucky finishes the Regular Season with a 21-9 Record and Finishes 8-8 in the SEC.
Kentucky Returns to action in the SEC Tournament in Greenville, South Carolina, this week as the #9 seed and will play 16th-seeded Arkansas on Wednesday, March 3 at 11 AM on the SEC Network.
