…WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM THIS MORNING TO 7 AM EST SATURDAY…

* WHAT…Expect southeast to south winds of 15 to 30 mph with gusts of 35 to 50 mph to develop this morning and continue into the afternoon, with isolated higher gusts possible. For this evening and tonight, southwest winds of 15 to 30 mph, with widespread gusts of 40 to 50 mph.

* WHERE…Portions of east central, northeast, south central and southeast Kentucky.

* WHEN…From 7 AM this morning to 7 AM EST Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS…Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The strongest and most frequent wind gusts are generally expected during two time frames. The first is from this morning into the afternoon, especially for ridgetops and areas of open terrain. The second time frame is from late this evening into the overnight.
