One Seriously Injured in Pike County Crash

Kentucky State Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash that left one person seriously injured Friday morning in Pike County.

The collision happened around 10:15 on KY-194 in Freeburn.

Morris Casey was driving a Ford Ranger eastbound when he struck the rear of a stopped coal truck that was waiting in a road construction zone.

Casey was airlifted to a trauma center for treatment of his injuries.

The driver of the coal truck, Larry Conley, was not reported injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
